Spiral Mixers

Spiral Mixers – Purpose-Built for Dough

When you’re making bread in volume, a spiral mixer is the specialist tool you need. Schmick’s spiral mixer range (HM-H10 through HM-120A) handles flour capacities from 3.5kg to 75kg per batch and dough capacities from 7kg to 120kg. These machines are built around a single purpose: mixing bread dough efficiently and gently, developing gluten without overheating the dough.

Key features include digital control with manual override, American-imported bearings and belt, steel gear material for long gear life, imported electronic components, and overload and phase-loss protection that keeps the machine safe in Indian electrical conditions. The safety cover with a cover-open-stop function ensures operator safety. The stainless steel SS 304 bowl and hook meet commercial hygiene standards. For high-gluten doughs, double motors and double speeds are available on larger models.

Rotating Spiral Mixers for Large-Scale Production

The rotating mixer series (HM-120F through HM-240F) steps up to industrial-scale dough production, handling flour loads of 75kg to 150kg and dough batches of 120kg to 240kg. These machines run on 380V with motors ranging from 13 to 18 kW, and feature dual spiral speed settings for mixing optimisation. If you’re running a large bread factory or supplying baked goods at scale, this is the range to look at.
